It’s a long weekend and the weekend of the wedding. We’ve decided to stay over at a beautiful country house. It might have something to do with celebrations and spending time in the country, but I’ve got lavender fields on my mind…
The season is definitely starting to change in this part of the world. I much prefer summer’s hot balmy days to the colder temperatures of autumn & winter. In my efforts to make the most of the tail-end of summer, I’ve practically forced everyone to abandon the tv to dine alfresco as often as possible!
I so want to slow the days down; maybe that is why this looks so inviting?
It’s been a pretty hectic week with my car in for repairs after a minor accident. To be honest, it took some carefull planning and manoeuvering to have everyone at their respective engagements and on time. Talk about dusting off the organising skills! I am so looking forward to the weekend…
Maybe spend some time at the pool and have a barbeque late afternoon…
Sound good, right?
The portfolio of the photographer Jordi Canosa is just a source of great inspiration. It is full of beautiful homes and houses from all over the world. This summer house is located in the small island Formentera. I just love how everything in this house was kept simple and clean without unnecessary furniture and accessories — perfect to get away from the rat race!
