This captivating Madrid Residence blew me away when I first saw it on Nuevo Estilo. A stunning home which received the highest attention to detail in its make-over. It is dispersed onto two levels in a 40-year-old building in the center of Madrid, Spain. The house is flooded with natural light thanks to its south orientation on the tenth floor. Interior architect Javier López made a radical changes to the home, tearing down walls and leaving mostly pillars for support.
The open plan features gloss finishes, the intentional use of fabrics and home automation. Velvet and silk add warmth to the spaces and create a stunning visual effect.
Javier López is also the designer of the majority of the furniture. Notice the refined lines, the brightness of the finishes and special relevance given to the chrome elements. And then there is the kitchen…
