It’s Sunday. We should be relaxing, right?
How perfect is the stone and detailing in this bathroom? The little table adds some extra glam - Love it.

It has to be seen as the image simply doesn’t do it justice.

I could spend extended time in a bathroom like this…
As more friends return from holiday, the comments about great holidays seem to have one thing in common:
I can’t wait to sleep in my own bed…
This is invariably said with that longing look in their eyes! I wouldn’t blame you if you think this post is about beds, but here’s the thing: my own comment usually is that I can’t wait to be in my own bathroom. To top it, my husband (away on a business trip in Botswana) bemoans the tiny shower in his apartment on a regular basis. The first thing he does when he gets home after his 5 hour trip, is to hop in the shower!
There is just something to be said for a bathroom that has you leaving it in a total state of bliss. So what exactly makes a bathroom a haven? To me it has to do with so much more than loads of nice fluffy towels (add large to that!) and beautiful fragrance or spa products. Think layout and light, large shower heads in roomy showers, enough shelving and storage space, underfloor heating (yes, please!), large mirrors and of course, the styling. Let’s not get into the hardware in this post. State of Bliss, remember?
Here are some bathrooms that I think will leave anyone’s senses refreshed & restored. It definitely gets my vote; how about you? What makes for a great bathroom in your opinion?
