How ironic is it that exactly at the point where we develop an ego, we become limited by the very thing?

Everyday life has turned into some kind of crazy the last few days.
The way its tuning out, today is going to have to be as working one… and I was hoping for a nice quiet weekend with a little breakfast in bed & some good coffee…

It’s snowing in Johannesburg & Pretoria and apart from the obvious excitement, it stunned everyone. It is winter in SA, but snowflakes are a rare commodity.
It was absolutely freezing when we went to gym this morning at 5:30 but never in a million years did we expect snow later in the day. It sent everyone rushing outside and pointing cameras to the sky. This is only my 3rd time, but some people in this country have never seen snow. People twirled and danced as snowflakes fell. By late afternoon rooftops were covered and roads quite slippery, but nothing could put a damper on the excitement.
I’ll bet very little work got done!

“C’mon…I want to play outside”
The South African Weather Service says it has only snowed in Johannesburg 22 other days in the last 103 years and the snow last fell here in June 2007.
