About

Lily&Rose is the brainchild of sisters Ninene Steenkamp and Irma Oosthuizen, who combine their creative and financial skills to offer a turnkey service in the residential market.  This dynamic duo is passionate about interpreting their clients’ unique styles and providing an affordable solution where colour schemes, textures and style come together effortlessly – turning dreams into reality.

At Lily& Rose we strive to provide a one-stop solution.  We will create and coordinate the perfect living environment to suit your family’s needs.  From designing cabinetry and furnishings to choosing the finishes and installation, Lily&Rose create décor solutions that add balance, flow and warmth to your interior.  We specialise in Project management, Small Renovations, End-use Facilitation, Space Planning, Interior design, Decorating and Art.  In addition, we assist with eco-friendly building techniques and products.  Together our joint knowledge and experience in the building industry, interior decorating environment & finances enable us to assist with every aspect of your project to see it through to conclusion.

After being ‘nagged’ by friends & family alike, Ninene’s paintings are now available through Art@heart.  Her work ranges from commercial painting to niche market nudes.

  1. Hi! I have recently discovered your blog and really enjoyed your posts, so I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award!

I’ve added a link to your blog from my post: http://hippopaloola.wordpress.com/2011/10/11/nominated-for-the-versatile-blogger-award-choice/

    Thanks and congratulations!

  2. We really parallel each other. (Do you sisters need a brother?) I have done commercial art all my life, and thanks to prodding by others am finally turning some of that into fine art. (Okay, for the purists who separate typography from oils, pseudo fine art.) Irma subscribed to my blog, so I returned the favor here.

    • You are right — you may as well be our brother! So glad to hear you have decided to concentrate on fine art. No worries about purists here: I decided long ago that I am going to stay true to myself and like what “speaks to me” (who cares what its called?). That seems to be true about art, architecture and wine! By the way, we featured the Steve Jobs/Apple Inc. ad on 17 October. Talk about round pegs in square holes… I really like your poster and have added the link to our post.
