Hi! I have recently discovered your blog and really enjoyed your posts, so I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award!
I’ve added a link to your blog from my post: http://hippopaloola.wordpress.com/2011/10/11/nominated-for-the-versatile-blogger-award-choice/
Thanks and congratulations!
We really parallel each other. (Do you sisters need a brother?) I have done commercial art all my life, and thanks to prodding by others am finally turning some of that into fine art. (Okay, for the purists who separate typography from oils, pseudo fine art.) Irma subscribed to my blog, so I returned the favor here.
You are right — you may as well be our brother! So glad to hear you have decided to concentrate on fine art. No worries about purists here: I decided long ago that I am going to stay true to myself and like what “speaks to me” (who cares what its called?). That seems to be true about art, architecture and wine! By the way, we featured the Steve Jobs/Apple Inc. ad on 17 October. Talk about round pegs in square holes… I really like your poster and have added the link to our post.
