The iconic Chesterfield sofa have graced homes since the 18th century. It is named in honor of Philip Dormer Stanhope, the fourth Earl of Chesterfield and then tastemaker, who wanted a sofa that would allow a gentleman to sit upright on a sofa and remain comfortable. A true classic, the Chesterfield has remained the same after all these years. Its tufted upholstery, equal height rolled arms and back, and nailhead trim is most often seen in leather, but is certainly not limited to it.

Though traditional, the Chesterfield is a timeless option that has a place in any home’s decor.
