The search for the House of the Year is complete!

Light Fantastic, an opulent French country villa took first place in this year’s House and Leisure House of the Year competition, in association with SA Home Loans.  It is the home of Henk and Monica Smit’s of Magoebaskloof in Limpopo.

Says Naomi Larkin, editor of House and Leisure magazine, ‘This year’s winning house captures the essence of luxury and elegance, with classic French charm meeting country living – SA style,’

What a bold statement the turquoise makes.  The bedroom is wonderfully simple but oh so stylish.

I can image warm, balmy days spent here.  Alfresco dining at it best.
